My Why:

For most of my adult life, I carried a body I didn't recognize — one that kept me from fully showing up in my own life. I found the information I needed. I followed the plans and tried the programs on my own, but was never able to make any progress stick. And I became convinced that maybe this just wasn't for me.

What changed wasn't a new diet or a better workout routine. It was finding coaches who believed in me before I believed in myself. People who saw something possible in me that I couldn't yet see — and refused to let me give up on it. That experience of being truly seen, supported, and held accountable changed everything. I lost 150 lbs. But more than that, I found a version of myself I didn't know existed.

That's the moment I knew I wanted to spend my life paying it forward.

Over the past year I've had the privilege of coaching dozens of people through their own transformations — helping them build strength, change their relationship with food, and discover what their bodies are actually capable of. Every single one of them has taught me something. Every win, however small, reminds me why this work matters.

A word about why the LGBTQ+ community is close to my heart.

So many of us grew up feeling like outsiders in fitness spaces. Like the gym wasn't built for us. Like health and strength were for other people — straight people, people who fit a certain mold. We were made to feel unwelcome, invisible, or simply not worthy of taking up space.

I know that feeling. And I know how wrong it is.

Every body deserves to feel strong. Every person deserves a coach who sees them fully — not just their fitness goals, but who they are. My practice is an explicitly welcoming space for gay, queer, and LGBTQ+ people, and I am committed to making fitness feel accessible, affirming, and genuinely joyful for anyone who has ever felt left out of it.

You belong here.

When I'm not coaching, you'll find me running with the Colorado Front Runners, exploring Denver's food scene, or planning my next adventure. I believe deeply that a good life includes great food, real community, and a body strong enough to enjoy both.

If any of this resonates — I'd love to meet you.
